Just wanted to thank you for patronage. Heres a bit more about myself.

I’m a 5`1″ 100% pure blood Filipino. I was born and raised in the United States. I’ve traveled around the US and I’ve been to Japan. I’m a full time college student and cosplayer. I do a lot of crazy things but most of all I have to admit.. I kinda don’t regret what I do. I’m happy to make the decisions that I’ve made or will make. I’m generally a nice person, its hard to catch me on a bad day. I can get angry easily.. but that doesn’t stop me! I still have a good time. Come say hi to me whenever you do see me! Whether at a con or… at a video game store.. or a book store.

I’m generally a wild person. Which is true. I like to live life to the fullest. What was yesterday is now in the past, and the future is always upon us, so take in time and do everything you can.

There are times when I forget names. I’m human after all. I’m very sorry if you approach me and I can’t remember your name. Please forgive me but there are many people and faces get mixed up, especially names! I’m still very thankful to have the people close to me!!

As you’re reading this, you’re probably thinking.. so why do you cosplay? That’s a good question. Ever since I’ve had a passion for video games and anime and comic books, I’ve always wanted cool outfits like them. I researched costumes and outfits and the such and I fell into the greatest hobby: cosplaying.

Since I’m a gamer, you might think I’m just a HELLO KITTY CUBE FRENZY player. WELL GUESS WHAT?! I’m a huge video gamer! I definitely love playing games. I started playing TETRIS as a kid then started off with PAC MAN, then it evolved into the SNES! Everything fell into place after that. I remember beating Zelda ages ago and then soon after I beat Sonic on the Genesis. Nowadays I play any type of game. There’s only two downsides with my video gaming: if I play a FPS too long I get headaches from motion sickness, and secondly, I can’t compete in tournaments. The reason behind this is my hands start shaking and I can’t control it. So I prefer not to freak myself out and enjoy the fun side of gaming. I don’t need to beat everyone to enjoy myself.

I sound like the stereotypical asian don’t I? Anime, comic books, video games.. HECK even dressing up!? What’s next, a biology degree to head into MED school? HAHA yea right. I’m currently pursuing a career in broadcasting. This dawned on me ages ago. But I definitely can’t handle the human body. Yeah.. I’m no nurse!

Oh whats that? my music selection is weird? WELL YEAH! I love a variety of things! I definitely love pop! Pop, classical, rock, trance, and well… anything that has a good beat I’ll fall head over heels for it.

So I attend Anime Convetions. I’m starting to travel more around the US. I like attending Conventions in the “middle” of the US. Mainly right now Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee. You’re probably thinking.. WAIT. You live in Missouri right? WELL. Partially. and thats that.

So you’re probably that girl on that one website.. you are correct. I sign up everywhere. There is only one Celeste Orchid and that is me. There was this time a girl used Celestial Orchid. Someone thought it was me. Sorry but no. Thats CELESTIAL Orchid. I’m CELESTE ORCHID.

How CELESTE ORCHID’S name came to be.
I wanted to change my name because theres a lot of Marissa’s in the con realm. So I went with my Elvish version of my name, Aeroniel.((arrow kneel: best way to put it)) If you were ever on my myspace before I changed it to Celeste. Now you know what it means. People couldn’t pronounce it right so I quickly decided for a different name.

I used to go by Mai… which is my name but take out r-ssa. But I soon learned… too many people would use this name and it’s way common. And I don’t like using Mia. My family uses Mia for notes, but its uncommon for anyone to use this name for me. Some of my close friends and family use Rissa. I don’t particularly use it often.. but its not its own unique individual alias that I want.

First off I wanted something heavenly like the singer TommyHeavenly6. But I decided to go with something a bit more… not heavenly and thought of Celestial. I didn’t like just the name Celestial.. so I cut it down to Celesté ((Celest EH like the last ee’s in fiancee)). People still didn’t get it right and said Celestê (( Celest ie like beastie)). I decided to cut the last part out and went with simple Celeste. ((CELES seriously fuck it up I’ll punch you in the face harder than Chris brown did to Rihanna)). And so it stuck.

Now Orchid is a compilation of many things. Btw its ORCHID ((ORC KID not ORC HARD. there’s no ARD in this name how can you mess this up.))

Orchid is actually a color. Thats the color font I always use. But doesn’t work with this scheme.
